Press Release Summary: Clean-Flo for pond treatment and pond aeration system to
improve water quality. Designing pond aerators, lake restoration products,
wastewater aeration systems and equipments since 1970 to improve water quality.

Press Release Body: Management of The Parkview Hills Community in Kalamazoo,
Michigan contacted CLEAN-FLO in early 2007 to
discuss possible options to restore 8 acre Willow Lake in the community. The lake
was rich in nutrients and was impaired by lily pads, milfoil, coontail, duckweed and
filamentous algae.
Lake Savers, an authorized CLEAN-FLO representative worked with the Parkview Hills
management to gather needed information and CLEAN-FLO designed a program to restore
the lake which included an inversion system and an application of beneficial
bacteria and enzymes.
Lake Savers installed the system on 6/18/07 and applied the bacteria and enzymes
approximately one month later. "The results were evident after only 5 days" says
John Tucci of Lake Savers. "The entire lake started to look better. Filamentous
algae disappeared quickly and the water clarity improved dramatically.
Prior to installing the system, Parkview Hills made a decision to treat the lake
with herbicides to get a fast result on milfoil. The herbicide company estimated
that 3 to 4 additional treatments would be necessary over the summer. Within a few
weeks the biological action made possible by the CLEAN-FLO system cleared the lake
of decayed vegetation and reduced nutrient levels to the point where no further
chemical treatment was needed in 2007.

Note: Lake Savers is an authorized CLEAN-FLO representative working on many types of
projects in the upper Midwest as well as through a branch in Florida. Feel free to
call John Tucci from Lake Savers at 269-383-3400 with any questions about your water
body or maintenance issue with an existing system.
Lake Savers is also providing system leasing opportunities to select customers. If
you want to improve your water body with CLEAN-FLO, this leasing program is an
excellent way to avoid a large capital expenditure. Contact John Tucci at

CLEAN-FLO Improves 50 Million Gallon Wastewater Lagoon
In spring of 2007 CLEAN-FLO was asked to design a system for a wastewater lagoon for
a 30,000 heifer farm in Meade, NE. The primary goals of the project were to convert
the anaerobic lagoon to an aerobic state, eliminate the odor emanating from the
lagoon, and reduce the sludge thickness so the effluent could be pumped off to a
second lagoon for irrigation.
The system was installed in August 2007 and within the first 2 weeks of operation,
odor was eliminated. Two months after the system was started, water testing showed
the dissolved oxygen levels had increased from 0.1 mg/l prior to installation to 3.3
mg/l. The lagoon was converted to an aerobic state and the owner was now able to
pump the effluent to their irrigation lagoon.
"Within the first 2 weeks, the very aggressive anaerobic activity had stopped and
the odors associated with that activity had also been reduced completely" said Ted
Mathews of E3 BioFuels, the farm operator. Review letters from href=\"http://www.clean-flo.com/files/e3%20biofuels%20letter001.pdf\">E3 BioFuels

Use Organic Dyes to Limit Aquatic Plant Growth
CLEAN-FLO's Sky Blue and Lochness Black organic lake dyes are excellent for coloring
the water and reducing sunlight penetration in a water body. The growth of aquatic
plants can be slowed dramatically by reducing sunlight penetration. By applying dyes
in the spring, you can get a jump start on preventing summer plant growth.
Now through April 15th, for every quart of dye that you buy, you will receive a
second quart at half price. One quart treats 4 acre-feet due to our concentrated
formula, which also saves shipping space and cost. href=\"http://clean-flo.com/pond-special.html\">Click Here.
CLEAN-FLO to be featured on TV
We are excited to announce that CLEAN-FLO will be featured on an upcoming segment of
"Sustainable Planet - Greening the Globe Through Innovative & Sustainable Solutions"
on FOX and other regional stations. Check our website at www.clean-flo.com for

Tech Tip #1
Did you know that Eurasian watermilfoil obtains nutrients and carbon dioxide
directly from the water column? Without nutrients and carbon dioxide, milfoil will
not survive even though it has a tiny thread rooted in the bottom. CLEAN-FLO systems
are designed to reduce nutrients and carbon dioxide, so milfoil growth is reduced
naturally.
Tech Tip #2
Many aeration systems marketed today utilize diffusers with rubber membranes. When
air is forced through these diffusers, the membranes will naturally stretch. The
problem with this is that as the membrane clogs and stretches, the pores in the
membrane also become larger. Larger pores produce larger bubbles with less surface
area and less surface tension. As the bubbles continue to get larger over time, the
oxygen transfer rate is reduced. Normally this will go unnoticed because the
appearance on the surface does not change. CLEAN-FLO's diffusers are engineered to
not clog or change bubble size during normal operation.
